    What should I bring with me to my appointment?

    Please bring any related medical records, current medication lists including dosage and frequency, Current Insurance Cards, Copay and insurance referral if required.

    Do I need a referral from my primary physician?

    Unless your insurance requires a referral you may call at any time for an appointment. If you do not know if your insurance plan requires a referral or authorization prior to your visit, please contact your insurance carrier.

    I am scheduled to come in for a colonoscopy and did not receive any instructions about my prep. What do I need to do?

    You must come in for an office visit prior to your colonoscopy. At the time of your visit, you will be given instructions as well as an appointment for the actual colonoscopy.

    Do you treat painful varicose veins?

    Yes. We will be happy to evaluate varicose veins. Our physicians provide various treatment options based on symptoms and severity of disease.

    Will I have my procedure on the day of my office visit.

    Most procedures can not be performed on the date of your initial visit. The initial visit is for consultation and to determine treatment options. If a surgical procedure is necessary then it will be scheduled for a later date.

    Where are your procedures performed?

    Our physicians perform procedures at Rowan Regional Medical Center. Most procedures can be performed in an outpatient setting.

    When will my biopsy, lab, X-ray results be ready?

    It takes at least 48-72 business hours to obtain results. Our office will contact you with results once the physician has reviewed. If you have not heard from our office within 7 business days, please feel free to contact us directly.

    Do you perform Laparoscopic Procedures?

    Yes. Many surgical procedures can now be done laparoscopically.

    What time is my surgery?

    For arrival times, please call 704-210-5355 12:30 to 4:30 the weekday prior to your surgery.

    What ages do you treat?

    We treat all ages of adults and children.

    Do I have to pay a copayment at each visit?

    We collect a copayment at every visit unless you are in the postoperative period of your surgery.

    Do you charge to complete disability forms?

    Yes. There is a $15.00 fee for each disability form that is completed. The amount is due at the time you pick up the completed form.
